Hello and WELCOME to our classroom page!
My name is Ms. Jones and this is my 12th year of teaching. I LOVE teaching and I love Eakin Elementary School!
Along with our Eakin Elementary school rules, BE RESPECTFUL, BE RESPONSIBLE, and BE READY, we will be learning how to be "Bucket Fillers." That means we practice helping others by being supportive and kind.
Our class has a Classroom Economy. This is a great way for the children to learn how to count and handle money as well as a way to encourage them to do their best.
Please listen to your child read for at least 20 minutes daily. There is a info-graph on this page that shows the benefits of reading at home.
If you ever have a question or need to discuss anything, please let me know. Communication is so important!
