Mrs. Sommers

My name is Kelsey Sommers and I am one of the Pre-K teachers at Eakin Elementary.

I spent 7 years at East Side Elementary School before coming to Eakin. During that time I taught 3rd grade, 1st grade and ESL K-5th grade. I also spent a year at the Bedford County Learning Academy (BCLA) teaching ESL at the middle school and high school level. Then, I was asked to move to the Pre-k department at Eakin Elementary. This will be my 3rd year at Eakin teaching Pre-K and I absolutely love it!
