🌟 Celebrating Exceptional Growth! 🌟

At their November school board meeting, #BedfordCountySchools recognized outstanding 1st and 2nd grade teachers whose students reached Level 4 and Level 5 growth on the Universal Reading Screener for the 2024–2025 school year! 📚✨

Each fall, #students take the Universal Reading Screener, which measures key literacy skills including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension. They take it again in the spring, and the results highlight just how much students have grown.

These teachers have guided their students to remarkable growth, showing the power of dedication, effective instruction and a strong commitment to literacy success. #Congratulations to these exceptional educators! Their work is helping students become confident, capable readers every day.

We are so extremely proud of our people!!! Eakin has earned the highest designation a school can receive in the state of Tennessee — Reward School! Being a Reward School means Eakin demonstrated strong academic achievement, exceptional student growth, and high performance across all state accountability measures. This honor reflects the incredible hard work of our students, the dedication of our teachers and staff, and the unwavering support of our families and community. We are grateful for everyone who helps make Eakin a place where students learn, grow, and thrive every single day. Way to go, Einsteins! 💙
