Last night, nine #BedfordCountySchools were honored with the 2024–2025 RTI²-A+B Change Makers Award by the Tennessee Tiered Supports Center and the Tennessee Department of Education at the board meeting! 🏆
#Congratulations to: #BedfordCountyLearningAcademy, #CascadeMiddleSchool, #CascadeHighSchool, #CommunityElementarySchool, #CommunityMiddleSchool, #EakinElementarySchool, #HarrisMiddleSchool, #LearningWayElementarySchool and #ShelbyvilleCentralHighSchool for their outstanding achievement!
These schools were recognized for work done in the 2024-25 school year, and continued in this school year, to strengthen academic and behavioral support, including implementing tiered interventions, conducting multiple student screenings and building strong #leadership teams, all to create a more supportive learning environment for every #student.

Our Book Fair will be open during STEAM Night! Be sure to set up your child’s eWallet so they can shop at school beginning Friday, March 21 through Friday, March 27.

Recently, we partnered with #Soles4Souls to host a district-wide shoe drive to collect NEW and GENTLY USED shoes to support people around the world, and because of your generosity, BCS collected an incredible 651 pairs! 👏✨
These shoes will support the Soles4Souls’ 4OPPORTUNITY program, which helps people in countries like Haiti, Honduras and parts of Africa create small businesses selling shoes and clothing to earn a living.
We are excited to partner with Soles4Souls, who has generously donated new, brand-name athletic shoes through their 4EVERYKID program, helping #BedfordCountySchools McKinney-Vento #students.
