Bio:
Hello Einstein Parents and Students!
I wanted to introduce myself a bit. My name I Mrs. Beverly Elmore and I earned my Masters in Education and Teaching Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix. This is my first year as a Certified Teacher, but not my first experience in teaching students. I worked in Murfreesboro City Schools for roughly 5 years as an Educator/Behavior Educator Assistant and I also taught the Related Arts Class STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) for a year where I saw grade levels K-6. I enjoyed my job so much that I decided to take it a step further and become a certified teacher. I am looking forward to getting to know all of the students at Eakin, especially those that will come to be in my class.
On a more personal note, I have been married to my childhood sweetheart for 22 years; I was 12 when we met. We have two teenage boys, one is 16 and is going to be driving soon and the other one will be 15 soon. I and my female pit-bull are the only females in the house, and as luck would have it, the shortest as well! We have a total of 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 1 bearded dragon. Our oldest son plays the drums and our youngest is the animal whisperer, never met an animal that didn't want to be in his lap. Both of the boys are members of the JROTC Program and Oakland High and are also on their competition team RAIDERS. The simplest way to explain that is it is an obstacle course race. The boys' activities definitely keep us very busy. My husband plays the guitar and is a Nurse; while I love Dragonflies and to draw. Though we are all always busy, we enjoy finding time together and fun places to go camping.
I look forward to getting to know all of your faces and names throughout the school and cannot wait to really get the year going!!!
