About The Teacher

My name is Shelley Walker and I teach ESL.  This is my fifth year at Eakin Elementary.  I grew up in Kingsport, Tennessee and moved to Middle Tennessee when I started college at Middle Tennessee State University. I started my teaching career in Rutherford County and then resigned to  stayed home with my children.  

When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children.  We enjoy spending time with our 3 horses, 3 dogs and 3 cats.
